The 2009 African American Male Youth Leadership Conferenceis an exciting and unique event for African American male middle and high school students from across the greater Memphis area.You are invited to this free, one-day conference to learn more about leadership, to be inspired, and to network with other young leaders from across greater Memphis.
This year’s conference theme is “Be a Leader!”The conference will feature well-known leaders from across greater Memphis who will share their leadership expertise and experience in an engaging, interactive format. In the afternoon, local leaders from business, politics, corporate, professional sports, the music industry and the world of entrepreneurship will be featured in a panel discussion where they will debate issues and experiences in their professional lives that called for them to demonstrate leadership by relying on personal principles of ethics and character.
